These two paintings at the Adam Street Gallery, Adam Street, were originally conceived as a single work made from 10 canvases. It was impossible to make them cohere. They worked much better as two paintings rather than as one.
Any exhibition is good of course, but we don't necessarily recommend that you show at this place. They seem to have a delightfully eccentric idea of what an exhibition is. We were surprised to learn, when the Director of the National Gallery went to see our show, that the work had been taken down some days before the show was due to close.
